About the role:
We are looking for an experienced Payments and Settlements professional to join the Finance and Operations team.
The primary focus of this role is to provide support for the operation of domestic and international clearing and settlement systems.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Process local and cross-border remittances transactions via SWIFT/NZCLEAR
- Managing daily processing of treasury products, money market, foreign exchange, interstate swap, bond insurance and bond investment
- Extracting and organising complex data for analysis and trending for pricing model
- Monitor VOSTRO and NOSTRO accounts
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Knowledge of treasury products
- A Bachelor degree in Finance /Accounting /Economics /Applied Mathematics /Statistics
- Understanding of SWIFT, NZ payments rules and practice is essential
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience within Payments and Settlement function
- Excellent communication skills (Mandarin advantageous)
